Art Nouveau silver and amethyst necklace by Murrle Bennett (gm3075)

Art Nouveau silver and amethyst necklace by Murrle Bennett, Anglo-German c1900. Interestingly the amethysts mid chain, whilst matching exactly in colour and cut are different shapes. I have no doubt they are original to the necklace. One is square and one is circular. Whether this was by design or a glitch in production we do not know but if anything makes the necklace even more interesting.
