Daughter of the artist Laura Loudon (nee Bennie) and John Loudon, Art Master at Hamilton Academy and later Chief Inspector of Art for Scotland. Noni McCrone studied at Glasgow School of Art and became a member of The Glasgow Society of Lady Artists. Exhibited with Mary Armour, Alison McKenzie, Noel Slaney, Margaret Paterson, Anna Hotchkis, Louise Annand amongst others..
