Arts & Crafts silver and enamel locket with gold bezel to hold the glass insert, designed by Archibald Knox for John Baker Bennett & Co, England c1907

John Baker Bennet was one of the founders of Murrle Bennett & Co. Between 1907 and 1909 he headed the short lived venture of John Baker Bennet & Co producing Arts & Crafts jewellery. The company had close links with W. H. Haseler Ltd and produced known models designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co.
